Semi-rigid hemp insulation is recognized for its phonic and thermal properties while offering excellent mechanical strength, and it adapts to all types of construction.

Compared to all its opponents, hemp wool offers a higher R-value, i.e. 3.7 / inch (3.5” thickness is R-13).

An important thing to take against with the environmental issues today is the CO2 Emission, which is produced, during its life cycle, by the materials we use to build our buildings. Hemp is very well positioned in second place behind natural wool with 32.25 – 52.60 kg / m3

What are the benefits of hemp?

Beneficial for health

Our insulation does not present any health risk. They are composed of 100% natural plant fibers (hemp, linen, cotton, cellulose), non-allergenic and VOC free. They also have the ability to absorb moisture, which reduces the risk of mold and bacteria.

Regulates humidity

By allowing the structure to breathe while maintaining thermal resistance, our insulation protects the building, improves air quality and maximizes thermal efficiency.

Resistant materials

Hemp and flax fibers are sought after for their great resistance, their solidity and their behavior in humidity (rot-proof).

Protects against rodents, moths & termites

Hemp and flax fibers are naturally repellent against rodents and xylophagous insects (moths, termites and ants). The use of our insulation therefore makes it possible to be protected from it and to preserve the wooden frames.

Sustainable buildings - Zero carbon

Hemp and flax are involved in soil regeneration because they require little water, no fertilizers and no pesticides. In addition, during its growth, hemp absorbs a large amount of CO2, thus reducing the carbon footprint of the buildings that use it.
